BU basketball and Baseball

 Carter and I had a Baylor sports weekend.  Brenner and Caleb decided to hang out at Cloverland while we went to the games.  Baylor had baseball and women's basketball going on during the same weekend.  We couldn't have asked for better weather or a better game from the Lady Bears.  They clinched the Big 12 regular season and celebrated big at the end of the game.  We also saw the progress on the new Baylor Stadium.  They have a long way to go to be ready by Fall 2014!

Team Swish

Carter is playing his first season of basketball with the YMCA.  He is on a Team Swish with lots of friends, including the coach.  Needless to say, he loves basketball.  There's never much scoring in these games, so any shot taken is pretty exciting.

Valentine's Day

The 3 year-olds gathered at the Samides house for a Valentine's Day playgroup celebration.  All such sweet friends!

Caleb and Emily bought each other Valentine gifts.  She picked out a Skylanders book for him and he got a box of chocolates with a cat that says "You're Purrr-fect" and some flowers.  I often wonder what the future holds for these two.

The next morning I had Valentine's breakfast with my 3 favorite little Valentine's.

Date Night with My Big Boys

 On a beautiful Friday afternoon in February I surprised Caleb and Carter with a trip to their current favorite place- Zone Action Park.  Groupon is always running deals for this place, so I knew this was the perfect thing for my big boys.

 Carter wore the baseball cap just to ensure he meets the height requirement for a solo rider.

 While the boys were playing miniature golf and riding the go-carts, I was scratching a couple of Bingo Scratch-Offs. 

 My $5 scratch-off won $100!  Made for a super-fun evening for all 3 of us!

Bass Hall

I've been enjoying my season tickets to Bass Hall this year.  I've always looked forward to each show!  Any chance for an excuse to go out for the evening!
