Happy 10th Birthday, Caleb Aubrey James!
Hard to believe Caleb is double digits! He's been so excited to turn 10 years old. No matter how much I begged him to stay 9, he insisted on turning 10. Caleb enjoys school. He especially enjoys math and history. He seems to soak up random historical facts just like his father. Each day I get my own history lesson when he gets off the bus. He also enjoys reading and is on the final book of the Harry Potter series. Caleb spends his afternoon walking the dog, playing video games, and playing outside with the neighbors. Four nights a week he swims at the natatorium with the LISD swim team prep group. Again, he seems to be a lot like Steve. Caleb is timid when it comes to trying new things and much prefers to be around small groups of friends. He is developing opinions and can be short tempered when it comes to his brothers. I'm catching the occasional eye roll when I ask him to do something he is less than enthusiastic about doing. I'm sure this is just a glimpse into his teenage years. :-) I'm blessed to call this boy my son and I look forward to what the next year holds!
