Jaime and Kevin are married!

My handsome boys were so excited to attend the wedding.

Jaime and Kevin had their reception at the Houston Aquarium.  The venue was fun and fabulous- just like Jaime!  We all had fun dancing the night away.  I really enjoyed spending time with some old Baylor friends.  My parents helped the boys have a really good time.  They even took a carriage ride late at night.

My handsome men!  I love my family!  Won't be long before Jaime has a brood of her own.

It seemed before we knew it the wedding was over.  Jaime and Kevin were gone for their wedding night.  The bridesmaids got things cleaned up and headed back to our hotel only to run into the newlyweds.  So, the party continued in their honeymoon suite!  What a perfect way to end a perfect day!  Congratulations Jaime and Kevin!

 After 8 years of teaching piano as a "hobby" to make a little cash on the side, I decided to make it a legit business.  Well, it was also my CPA, aka "daddy", that suggested I start running this business the right away.  Time to start keeping records of money, bills, mileage, yada, yada, yada.  I now have business insurance.  Ouch- it's a lot of money.  There will be some write offs for having a home-based business.  Better believe I will take advantage of every one of them.  I honestly can't imagine I will make enough to make it all worth it, but Dad wants me to be paying into social security so I can benefit from it one day.  Ha!  As if SS will be around when I'm 65.

Brenner got Christmas money from Mamaw & Papaw and Grandmother.  What does he decide to buy?  Thomas the Train accessories.  Of course.

Goodbye to the Reeds

 Goodbyes can be so hard.  Especially when it's your neighbor that's moving.  Ethan and Carter have been friends since birth.  Brian, Tammy, Ethan, and Kaden all moved to California in early January.

The boys enjoyed hiking around the ranch.  Can't believe Grammy and Grandpa have a ranch in Llano!  Even more exciting are the house plans they have being designed for the property.  I see lots of hiking, hunting, and bird watching in our future.

Remembering December

The boys sold mistletoe to their friends and neighbors.  They used the money the raised to buy a $50 gift card for the custodian of their school.  I was so proud of them to think of others before themselves.

 Sunni, Brad, and Kayli came out for a Christmas get-together.  Sunni and I have decided that Kayli has 3 guys to choose from for a future husband.  It seems she's most smitten with Carter.

 Jaci, Tonja, and I drove down to Waco to watch Baylor Lady Bears play Tennessee.  BU won!

 Brenner loves his play kitchen.  So much so, that he even makes sure Elfy gets fed.

 Carter had his class holiday party.  He always wants me to stop by.

2013 started out as a party!

Leigh Ann, Jaime, Jenn, Lee Jayne and a few others all came to the lakehouse for a Bachelorette Weekend!  We celebrated with wonderful food, drinks, football, and relaxation!
