My Baylor friend met me in Waco for the Baylor/Mizzou basketball game. This girl loves basketball even more than me. If only Jaime could have been here it would have made for a perfect weekend!

Caleb & Eli
Caleb's buddy, Eli, moved back to Louisiana right before school started. Eli came to town one weekend and we got to have him over. Caleb sure has missed his friend. I can't believe how much Eli has grown!
Cousin Dinner
The Shans came to town to go to GWL with some friends. We met them for dinner one night. Any chance to get our rowdy 6 together! The balloon guy stopped by our table. Whew... that's a lot of boys.
A Rough January for Brenner
January started like any other normal month. Our cute little guy was loving life.
Having fun with Daddy.
Then around the middle of the month he started running a low fever and started coughing.
The fever got higher. The cough got worse. The nose started running. And his eyes were all goopy.
Time to see the doctor. It was confirmed. He has RSV.
And a double ear infection.
So sick he slept in this position halfway on the couch.
10 days of antibiotics for the ears, cold medicine for the RSV, and lots of TLC from the family and we have our happy boy back. So long, RSV. Hope we never meet again.

Death By Legos
"Death by Legos"- that's what I want written on my tombstone. If there's one thing that will kill me it will be having to reorganize all of the Lego sets. The 2 totes are filled with sets I dismantled (approximately 40) so the shelf wouldn't look quite so crowded. They will go in the attic until the boys are married and their new wives will inherit them- much like what happened to me. Now I just want a giant piece of plexiglass covering the shelf so no one will be tempted to ever touch them again. The rule at my house: if you want to play Legos, enjoy the the tubs of loose ones but I will break your fingers if you touch the sets. This rule will even apply to the 2 year old. Fair warning given now to all who enter my home. Oh, and Happy New Year!
